End of september 2022 engineers from PiKT and AgroMAP and students from University of Tirana went to the test fields in Sutaj in the province Elbasan close tot he border to North Macedonia.
The engineers installed the first version of the CPS system, a weatherstation and sensors in the field. The CPS is based on a PLC of manufacturer Beckhoff. The settings can be done with Windows-PC. The CPS, the PC and the base station are installed small hut on the field and are connected tot he internet.
So it is possible to do remote control via systems provided by PiKT. The selected values of weatherstation and CPS will later also be displayed on the web-site.
